This meditation requires that you listen to ocean sounds. Set your timer for 7 minutes. Lie on your back and listen to the sound of the ocean waves.
Imagine the waves traveling from the crown of your head down to the toes. Then, back from the toes to the crown of the head. Feel the energy of the waves moving up and down through the body.
Chanting, praying, crying, burning.
Incense, sage, palo santo, copal.
Dancing, mulling, hiding, binging, reviving, revitalizing.
Who knows what the caterpillar does in the cocoon, but him?

When I was a girl, my grandma would often say, “Believe in yourself, honey.” This was usually in response to an expression of fear and doubt in myself. I think that was her way of telling me that it’s okay to feel, okay to be myself, okay to believe in something only I could know.
