Being the Best Gets you Nowhere. Being the best you, well that’s a different story. Lebron James’ recent loss to the Golden State Warriors after his proclamation of being the best player in the world showed us several things. 1. Being the best at what you do doesn’t always equal the win. 2. There is deep wisdom in knowing your strengths, developing them, and surrounding yourself with those who fill in the blanks where you are weak (as Golden State did and captured the trophy). 3. Also, we can all be humble amidst greatness. But really, how often has being the best gotten in the way of true connection, with yourself and those around you? My focus is to help you understand that honoring your strengths and being the best ‘you’ creates a unified field of achievement where we can all be the best.....the best at our strengths. Some of us are strong empathizers, others, strong in marketing, others, strong in achieving and it takes all of us to keep this ship called earth turning. Do you have trouble embracing your strengths? Do you find yourself trying to be good at everything? Well, rest easy because you don’t have to be. Here’s a guided meditation to help you focus, embrace, and nourish your strengths. Sending you love and wellness, ~Robin
