Stress-Reducing Long Deep Breath

6/11/2015

I just returned from a trip to the beach where I received deep healing through dance, yoga, and song.

When returning from a trip some processing time is necessary before you jump back into your daily routine; and one of the best ways to process is through a daily meditation practice using the breath.
Breathing deeply increases oxygen circulation, nourishing all of your body's cells with vitality!  When we breathe deeply we also notice more deeply.  We see where we can allow more love in and where we store pain in our bodies.  In this way, practicing a long deep breath is a sensitivity exercise that helps us connect to how we feel in the moment.

Here is our first summer meditation from the beach (a bit late so I could enjoy a few long deep breaths.) Enjoy the sound of the waves and allow them to guide your breath!

Thank you for listening!
